Built in the 1930s, this remarkable instrument is undergoing a nearly two-year restoration project focused on returning it to its original components and condition.

One of our favorite Halloween traditions returned to the FJUHSD Education Center as we welcomed our Adult Transition Program (ATP) students for their annual trick-or-treating experience!

Departments throughout the Education Center opened their doors to greet students, hand out treats, and share plenty of Halloween smiles and excitement! 🍭🍫

A HUGE thank you to all our departments and staff for helping make this such a fun and memorable experience for our ATP students!

The restoration of the historic Fullerton Auditorium Pipe Organ is continuing and we’re sharing a special look at the work involved in bringing this remarkable instrument back to its original condition!

Our newest furry friends at Sunny Hills High School had some special visitors! FJUHSD Board President Marilyn Buchi and Trustee Joanne Fawley stopped by the Sunny Hills Ag Farm to meet the school’s two llamas! 🦙🦙

The duo has officially settled into their new home and is now cohabiting with the farm’s goats and sheep! 🐐🐑

Mr. Kim brought the llamas out for an up-close introduction, and they were more than happy to make a few new human friends!

It’s wonderful to see these newest members of the Sunny Hills family thriving and bringing even more excitement to the school’s agricultural program.

A big thank you to Mr. Kim for the warm welcome and for helping our Board members get to know these additions to the Lancer Ag Farm!

Our FJUHSD Administrative Services team got into the Halloween spirit by spreading a little sweetness and appreciation across the District!

Armed with bags of candy and plenty of Halloween cheer, the team handed out treats to staff as a small way of saying THANK YOU for all they do to support our students, schools, and communities! 🍫🍭

It’s the little gestures that make a big difference, bringing smiles, building connections, and strengthening the sense of community that makes FJUHSD special.

This week, FJUHSD joins schools and communities across the nation in recognizing Red Ribbon Week, a time to raise awareness about the importance of living healthy, safe, and drug-free lives.

Red Ribbon Week reminds us of the power of making positive choices, supporting one another, and creating school communities where every student feels connected, valued, and empowered to make decisions that support their well-being.

Together, we can encourage healthy habits, meaningful conversations, and a culture of care that helps our students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

Our FJUHSD AP Leadership team gathered for its second meeting of the 2026-27 school year, featuring a special guest presentation from Steven Cazares, Director of Educational Services!

Mr. Cazares shared his personal and professional journey, offering an inspiring look at the experiences, challenges, and motivations that have shaped his leadership and his “Why.”

Through thoughtful storytelling and introspective exercises, he encouraged our assistant principals to reflect on their own journeys, the values that guide them, and the purpose behind the work they do every day.

The presentation also provided a meaningful opportunity to get to know a fellow District leader on a deeper level, reminding us that strong leadership begins with connection, reflection, and understanding one another.

A huge thank you to Mr. Cazares for his openness, insight, and willingness to share his story with our AP Leadership team! 🙌

Our Educational Services team brought the fall spirit to the Education Center with a special luncheon for District staff!

Employees showed off their team pride by wearing their favorite jerseys while enjoying delicious food, fun games, and an opportunity to connect with coworkers in a relaxed and welcoming setting. 🏀🏈⚾

Events like these are a great reminder that the connections we build with one another help create the strong sense of community that makes FJUHSD special.

🍇🍦A SWEET SURPRISE, A WHOLE LOT OF COMMUNITY LOVE! 💚

An unexpected donation of delicious fruit ice cream bars brought smiles to Buena Park High School! ✨

When Giving Children Hope Director Elia Perez reached out to our FJUHSD District Community Liaison, Stephany Grigorov, about this generous donation from Food Finders, our team jumped into action! Together with Dr. Sonje Berg, Principal of Buena Park High School, we made this sweet surprise possible for all students, teachers, and staff across campus. 💚🤝

This is community partnership in action! When we come together, we connect resources, spread kindness, and create meaningful moments for our school communities.
