Meet Simon, our kid librarian of the month! His favorite book character is Terry from The 13 Story Treehouse, his favorite place to read is in his bed. His favorite thing about the library is that this library has more series of books than most do and his all time favorite book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid #18 No Brainer! Great display, Simon!

Teen Advisory Group met tonight and our goal was to jazz up our new bulletin board in the teen area! We found this idea on Pinterest and they got to work. The idea is to take a sticky note that says what they need to be reminded of at the moment or what speaks to them! Affirmations, positive reminders or an encouraging word or quote!

We have made up mental wellbeing kits with leftover supplies from our Mental Health Lunch & Learn event! These include a journal, journaling prompt stickers, informational handouts on breathing for stress relief, writing & journaling, a calming blend tea packet, fidget toy and more ways to take care of yourself on the hard days. They are free and located in the lobby behind the chair. Come grab one - no need to ask! There are also informational brochures on local therapists in the area & NAMI handout.
