Fulshear Branch Library - FBCL Fulshear Branch Library in Fulshear is one of 12 branches of Fort Bend County Libraries, a public library system in Fort Bend County, Texas.

Fort Bend County Libraries' Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library opened in May 1998, the third branch voted for in the 1989 bond election. The mission of Fort Bend County Libraries is to bring people, information and ideas together to enrich lives, expand minds, and strengthen our community. Fulshear Branch Library will be a voting location for the upcoming elections! Because of this, limited youth programs will be hosted starting October 15.

Story times during the voting period will be shorter versions of our regular programs. A limited number of other programs will take place throughout this time as well. Regular youth programming will resume November 9.

Join us for Paper-Bag Monster Puppets this Wednesday, October 14, at 4:15 pm. Join us for a monstrously fun craft session! We’ll transform ordinary paper bags into wacky, wild, wonderful monster puppets. This program is for children in grades K - 5.

Space is limited. Free tickets to the program will be made available at the Youth Services desk starting at 3:30 pm.

Materials for this program are made possible by the Friends of the Fulshear Branch Library.

Join us for story time this week (October 12, 13, 14) at the Fulshear Branch Library! We have several programs geared toward different age levels. This week's theme is Creepy Crawlers!

Pajama Night Story Time (for all ages) takes place on Mondays at 6 pm.

Toddler Time (for children 1-3 years old) takes place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:15 am and on Wednesdays at 11:15 am.

Preschool Story Time (for children 3-6 years old) is on Tuesdays at 11:15 am.

We hope to see you there!

Please note that space is limited, and all story-time programs require a free ticket for entry. Tickets are available 45 minutes before the program at the youth services desk.

🍽️ Come join us for Fulshear Foodies, our community's potluck and cookbook book club, on October 12, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, at the Fulshear Branch Library!

This month's theme is A Fun Frightful Feast!

🍽️ We'll share recipes we've tried this month and explain the dishes we've brought to the meeting, exchanging recipes and cooking tips we've garnered during our culinary experience!

🍽️ Check out our cookbook collection for inspiration. Disposable dishes and cutlery, take-home plates, and serving utensils will be provided. Exposed heating elements are not allowed. No registration is required.

Join us as for "Paper Roller Coaster" -- a Creative Connections activity for children in grades 4-8 -- this Thursday, October 8, at 6:00 pm! Children will use paper to design and build a roller coaster, then test their creations by sending a marble through the tracks.

Space is limited! Free tickets to the program will be made available at the Youth Services desk starting at 5:15 pm.

Materials are provided by the Friends of the Fulshear Branch Library.
