🎃 Scare on the Square is getting a new look this year! 🎃

Hey, everyone! We are excited to officially announce that the Itawamba County Pratt Memorial Library is partnering with the City of Fulton, MS, this year to help create what we hope will become a yearly, all-inclusive community Halloween event!

We were thrilled to host Nightmare on the Square, our teen Halloween event, last year, and many of the activities from that event will be making a return this year. With the all-inclusive nature of this year's celebration, we have switched back to operating under the traditional Scare on the Square name, and we are excited to introduce you to this new take on the event!

In addition to the activities already announced by the City of Fulton and other community groups, the Library will be bringing several fun activities of our own, including:

🎃 Teen Costume Contest — We'll sponsor the teen portion of the costume contest with special teen-specific categories and prizes!

🎯 Fun Interactive Games — Including Tennis Ball Darts, Yard Pong, and more!

📸 Photobooth — Grab some friends and take some fun Halloween photos with our props!

🍬 Candy Giveaways — We'll have plenty of treats for everyone!

And this is where YOU come in!

🙋 We need volunteers! We are looking for a handful of community volunteers to help Library staff make sure everything runs smoothly that night. The more volunteers we have, the more activities we can offer!

🍭 Community Candy Drive: If you'd like to help, we're also collecting candy donations so we can make sure we have plenty of treats to give away throughout the evening.

🏆 Teen Costume Contest Prizes: We are looking for some cool prizes for our teen costume contest! Local businesses, artists, craftsmen, makers, and other community members are invited to help us make the contest extra special.

Donors will be recognized on social media and at the event!

We are excited about this new chapter for Scare on the Square and hope you'll join us in making it a fun Halloween night for our entire community!

❤️🎃 We appreciate your support!
