They like blueberries much more, but Harry and Gandalf are learning to eat their greens to grow big and strong, although Harry seems to mostly be spitting his out. 😂

Before we moved South, I had wanted a swan of my own for as long as I can remember. We built the pond for her after we moved here.
She does not disappoint. Watching her glide around the water is somehow peaceful and relaxing for me.
I've raised Aria since she was an Itty bitty, even getting us both through the trauma of a "harmless" black rat snake killing her sister years ago. She and I definitely share a bond.

Peafowl hatching for 2026 Has finished for us. Yes we have more eggs, NO we do not want to hatch anymore. 😂
We got 4 fertile eggs from our hybrids and hatched all 4, so we will leave the season grateful for that!

Testing... Facebook is not working for me. Anyone else struggling this morning?

Pretty Ms. Delilah taking advantage of the stall we thought we could close off from cows for our emu (in my defense they were the highlands and bigger than Dee, it still did not work even though there is a 3rd barrier you can't see). This is interesting because she did not like being stalled when I did it 😆. Baby Dee due September/October.

Don't worry, I did eventually put down the phone and help. 😆
This one and her daughter, getting their heads stuck in the fence is a daily occurrence. Trying to find Kong toys that fit their horns to see if it helps. Any other tips or tricks?

At least SOMEONE is still working it around here. 🙄
