The Highland Bulldogs Tech & Robotics Team is looking for sponsors to help support student learning in robotics, coding, technology, digital design, and more! By sponsoring a student, your business logo can be featured on the back of our team shirts while helping provide supplies, competition fees, tools, and technology opportunities for our students.

Sponsorship levels start at just $25 and go up to $100!

📚 Library Book Reminder 📚

All library books are due back by Thursday, May 14th. Please help your child look for any missing books at home, in backpacks, cars, or bedrooms.

If a book cannot be found, it may be replaced with a copy of the same book or payment for the cost of the book. Thank you for helping us get our library ready for the end of the school year! ❤️

📚✂️ Fold, crease, and create! ✂️📚

Our Highland students asked for origami books… so of course we had to say YES! 🙌

With our brand new books, students got busy folding and turning paper into the cutest little dogs 🐶❤️ From our littlest learners to our big kids, everyone gave it a try—and they did an AWESOME job!

There were lots of giggles, a few tricky folds, and SO much creativity. This might just be our new favorite thing to do in the library! 🎉📖

Who knew a piece of paper could turn into so much fun?! 😄

🐾 Giving Back on National Volunteer Week! 🐾

Our Highland Elementary Peer Helpers spent time serving at the Rainbow City Animal Shelter during National Volunteer Week, and we could not be more proud!

Not only did they volunteer their time, but they also delivered all of the amazing donations collected by our school to help support the animals in our community. ❤️

These students rolled up their sleeves and got to work—cleaning litter boxes, scooping waste, scrubbing kennels, washing dishes, folding towels, and feeding both dogs and cats. 🐶🐱

Of course, they made time for the best part too… giving plenty of cuddles and love to the animals!

We are so proud of our students for showing compassion, responsibility, and a true heart for service. Way to go, Peer Helpers! 👏

We had such a special visit at Highland Elementary! 🐾📚

A huge THANK YOU to Dr. Julie Lumpkin Payne for spending time with our Pre-K through 3rd grade students and reading her new book, The Little Brown Puppy Finds a Home: The Story of Gerald Rogers. Our students were so engaged and loved hearing the story straight from the author herself—it truly made the experience unforgettable!

Even more exciting… we now have a signed copy of the book in our library that students can check out!

✨ Be sure to ask your child about this sweet story and encourage them to visit the library to read it again.

🐾 Paws for a Cause Update! 🐾

It’s a CLOSE race, and several classes are neck and neck! 👀🐶🐱

There’s still time to help your class take the lead—be sure to send in your donations by Monday, April 20th! 📦

🏆 The class with the most donations will win a PIZZA PARTY! 🍕

Let’s finish strong and help fill a bowl and help a soul! ❤️
