Congratulations to the 2025 Rookie of the year... This recipient has jumped in to help when/where he has been needed and given his all in everything he has done. He came in not knowing much of anything to do with what all it consists of to be in a volunteer department. He had no clue he was being recognized tonight, we just told him he needed to be sure he was at the meeting even if he was late. Congratulations Bo Black you deserve it.

We don't know what we woud do without our Dispatchers! They are our angels on our radios! They are usually the first voice anyone hears when in distress. They do not get enough recognition for what they do for this county! Thank you again 911 Dispatchers!

Gaston Parents, Guardians, Students & Community:
The Gaston High School Administration would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Coats Bend and Tidmore Bend Fire Departments for their unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety of our academic institution. We would also like to express our gratitude to Mrs. Chapman for her tireless efforts in assisting with the organization of last Saturday's meeting. Together with Mr. Tant & Mrs. George, we conducted a safety walk-through and reviewed our emergency plan with the departments.
Both Departments invaluable contributions have been a testament to their dedication and professionalism in safeguarding our institution. Moreover, we are pleased to note that the departments have been consistently volunteering their time during our football games, further demonstrating their unwavering support for our institution. Once again, we would like to thank the Coats Bend and Tidmore Bend Fire Departments, as well as Mrs. Chapman, for their commitment and contributions towards ensuring the safety and security of our institution.
