At BPW, we’re proud to provide reliable electric service while being right here in the community we serve. From the crews who keep our system running to the employees who answer your questions and help keep things moving behind the scenes, every member of our team plays a part in serving you.

Learning Beyond the Counter

Just before Customer Service Appreciation Week, our Customer Service Representatives spent their day off learning more about the many people, departments and processes that work together behind the scenes to serve our customers.

Throughout the day, they visited our Water Treatment Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant, learned more about the work that goes into providing safe and reliable water and wastewater services, and participated in meter and electrical usage demonstrations to better understand how our systems work and how they impact our customers.

We are especially grateful for their willingness to give up a day off to learn, grow and better serve our customers. That commitment says a lot about the people who make up the BPW team.

A special thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to lead demonstrations, answer questions and share their knowledge. Your willingness to help our Customer Service team understand what happens beyond the customer service counter is a great example of working better together.

And to our Customer Service Representatives: Thank you for all you do every day for our customers and our community. We appreciate you! 🫶

Commissioner James Kelly represented BPW as we celebrated an evening dedicated to community and leadership.
