As we roll through the fall, what’s your s’mores style?

Burned marshmallows? Soft ones? Something in-between?
I like to engulf that marshmallow in flames for the extra crunch and smoky flavor in my treat.

Not every adventure looks good on camera. Some you just have to experience, like navigating through rapids on a jungle river system in total darkness except for a flashlight in our small boat.

Many people see the great fish species we catch in remote destinations like Guyana in South America, but there’s a lot of effort and sometimes grueling conditions required to do it. This is one of them.

Many parts of these expeditions are not sexy or eye-catching but they are important share what goes on behind the scenes.

We are vulnerable to every land and water predator in this moment and every potential environmental element. Most people will never see this detail so I wanted to share what it’s like in that small boat in this moment.

We are thankful for our expert guide and vetted operator.

There's wild and dramatic shift in the behavior of wildlife that surrounds you moments before a massive tuna strike. 🎣

This video clip was shot while bluefin tuna fishing off the coast of Ireland after fishing for hours with nothing happening. A 630lb. tuna smacked our lines literally moments after this chaos unfolded all around us indicating dramatic activity happening under the water heading our way.

Nature fascinates me!

My recent article in this month's Catfish NOW magazine reveals where my quest for international fishing, and fishing for fish much bigger than me, came from. My role as an outdoor journalist proudly comes with the responsibility of inspiring other women to pursue fishing and outdoor adventure with confidence.

One of my favorite lines from my article is this: "I was the only female sharing the rods and riverbank for a week with seven men I just met in a country I’d never been to while navigating a language I didn’t speak. I didn't care. I was on a mission..."

Enjoy the read, and let's keep getting women out there in ways they never thought possible.

Who has been walleye fishing on Lake Erie this fall and how are conditions? 🎣

This pic is not from this season but it’s indicative of what October catches can produce up there.

I’d love to know how this season is faring.

Who needs a stool when you can just stand on your buddy’s head? 🦎

Bearded dragons are some of the coolest and silliest lizards in existence.
