📅 Save the date! Fight Flu Day is almost here.

On Tuesday, October 20, local county health departments across Tennessee will offer free flu shots as part of the statewide 2026 Fight Flu prevention effort.

Free flu shots are available for Tennesseans ages 6 months and older.

Don't forget to take a coffee break with us on October 19 at 10am at the temporary Chamber of Commerce office right next door to The Board Room and learn what to do in case of an opioid overdose!

Many people are at risk for accidental overdose, including seniors taking prescribed medications and children who could experience accidental exposure. Naloxone (aka Narcan) should be one of the tools in your first aid kit -- just in case!
