Resilience Charter School Engaging students through authentic relationships and project-based learning.

Resilience Charter School creates a supportive yet challenging learning environment which inspires academic excellence and active citizenship, developing a hub of empowerment for Alachua County youth. Resilience Charter cultivates a dynamic learning community based on innovation, social justice, and environmental stewardship. The Resilience Charter School engages students through authentic relationships and project-based learning, empowering them to think critically, persevere with grit, design creative solutions, and act with mindfulness and compassion. We know that traditional learning isn't always the best approach for every child, and real-world problems don't fit neatly into one academic subject. Instead, we focus on Project Based Learning (PBL), which is a dynamic approach to learning about different subjects simultaneously while your child actively explores and solves real-world problems

Today we remember and honor the indigenous people on whose lands Alachua County was created. This area is the ancestral home of the Timucua, Potano, Seminole, Mascogo, and Miccosukee people.

We are honored to partner with Food4Kids to help students experiencing food insecurity. Through the Food4Kids Backpack Program, children identified as being at risk of chronic hunger receive a bag of nutritious food each weekend to take home. Each bag can help feed up to four children and contains approximately seven meals and snacks, including items such as peanut butter, jelly, pasta, milk, vegetables, cereal, and other kid-friendly foods. Families with more than four children receive additional bags as needed.
Food4Kids relies on school personnel to help identify students who may be experiencing chronic hunger. If your student could benefit from the program, please complete the enrollment form sent home and return it to your school.
Thank you so much to Food4Kids for providing this vital resource to our students and the community!

To identify chronically hungry children throughout the community and provide them with food and vital resources on a regular basis.

We are very fortunate to be recipients of the CEP program. Every student at our school will receive a free breakfast and lunch throughout the school year.

For the upcoming school year, 23 local schools, including some charter schools, have been designated as federal Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) sites.
That designation means that all students at the school are eligible to receive free breakfast and lunch, regardless of family income and without having to apply. Please see the complete list on this flyer.
