Our mission is to provide a variety of services to anyone in need, to advocate justice, human dignity and quality of life; and to call all people of goodwill to join in these efforts; thereby reflecting the compassion and love of God in Christ. Catholic Charities Gainesville is a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization that provides a number of services and programs for anyone in need within Alachua, Bradford, Dixie, Gilchrist, Levy and Union Counties. Did you know?

• 95 percent of the people we serve are not Catholic.
• Our food pantry served over 25,000 individuals last year.
• Every weekend of the school year, our Weekend Hunger Backpack Program provides food to over 700 children struggling with hunger
• Our Rural Outreach program has helped over 13,600 families receive food and other basic needs.
• Our Bridges to Prosperity program assisted 150 individuals to take action to improve their lives through education and training.
• Our Adoptions program provides a variety of services to all members of the adoption triad.
• Caring Choice our Pregnancy Counseling Program provides support for women experiencing an unintended pregnancy
• 87 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to client services.
