⭐️ Community Impact Spotlight ⭐️ Bridging Hope
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month & we're proud to support Bridging Hope (formerly R**e Response). Bridging Hope has served survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence in our community since 1988, through forensic medical care, advocacy, & prevention education in local schools and campuses.
Meet Janie Steckenrider, Co-Director of Bridging Hope’s Forensic Medical Program. For Domestic Violence Awareness Month, she’s raising awareness about non-fatal strangulation, a serious warning sign of future violence.
As a United Way funded partner, this is your support at work in our community.
If you or someone you know needs help, Bridging Hope’s 24-hour crisis line is available: 770-503-7273
