Stay safe this weekend as the storm can impact areas well beyond its path. 🌧

Hurricanes can cause heavy rainfall, strong winds, flooding, power outages, and possible tornadoes to neighboring areas. Take steps now to prepare your household:

◾️ Stay informed: Monitor local news, weather alerts, and guidance from local officials.
◾️ Build an emergency kit: Gather essential supplies to last several days.
◾️ Avoid traveling in floodwaters: Turn around; don't drown.
◾️ Know where to shelter: Identify a safe place to take shelter if a tornado warning is issued.
◾️ Plan for power outages: If anyone in your household relies on electrically powered medical equipment, make backup arrangements to ensure it can be powered.

Stay alert by preparing today! 🤝
