2017 will mark the 40th year that the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office Juvenile Relations Bureau and Educational Tours will host the Annual Washington D.C. The 2017 Washington D.C. Safety Patrol Trip has thirty three (33) public, private, charter, and parochial schools from Alachua County participating.

Mom, Dad, Aunties, Uncles, Grandparents, and everyone else eagerly waiting, we are officially on our way home!

We are expected to arrive at Celebration Pointe in Gainesville at approximately 7:15 PM. Please make every effort to be there on time to pick up your little one. We would hate for anyone to be the last one waiting, as that can make our travelers a little sad after such an amazing trip.

Thank you for trusting us with your children. We have had a wonderful time, and we look forward to seeing everyone soon!

We have made it back to Florida and we are grabbing dinner then we will be heading straight to, Gainesville. Stay tuned for updates reference the approximate time we should be arriving at Celebration Point

This year’s trip to Washington, D.C. included a special surprise, the Alachua County Sheriff, Chad Scott, joined us for part of the tour! It was amazing to see him interacting with our students and chaperones while taking in the sights of our nation’s capital.

Thank you to the Sheriff for dedicating your time to the children of Alachua County. Your support and involvement mean more than you know. We see you, and we appreciate you! 🇺🇸💚💛
