We had to get a picture of this plate! 📸

Our members made their own snack skewers with fruit, cheese, and meat, choosing their favorite combinations and arranging each one just how they liked. As fun to make as they were delicious to eat!

Happy Labor Day Weekend!

As we celebrate the hard work and dedication of people across our community, Worldshine will be closed tomorrow, Monday, September 7. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday, September 8.

🍦 Who doesn’t love a cool, sweet treat on a hot summer day? ☀️

Last week, our members enjoyed a fun-filled Ice Cream Day! Everyone had a great time choosing from chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream, then adding their favorite toppings—fresh strawberries, blueberries, cherries, coconut, sprinkles, caramel, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream.

More than just a delicious treat, it was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the sunshine, spend time with friends, share laughter, and make sweet memories together.

🐚 From simple seashells to adorable little creations!

This week's DIY project brought out everyone's creative side. With paint, googly eyes, pom-poms, and other fun decorations, ordinary seashells became colorful crabs, hedgehogs, and more.

Who knew rocks could have so much personality?

Our members turned ordinary stones into colorful masterpieces during our DIY Stone Painting session! From bright swirls and blooming flowers to cute little bugs and smiley designs, every creation was one of a kind.

It's proof that with a little imagination, even the simplest stone can become a tiny work of art!

We can't wait to see what we'll create together next! 💛

🎉 Music, dancing and inspiring stories—our Independence Day celebration had it all!

The morning began with lively music, followed by dancing and heartfelt personal stories that highlighted the strength, resilience, and diversity of our community. It was wonderful to see everyone come together to celebrate, connect, and create lasting memories.

❤️🤍💙 Getting ready for the Fourth of July with creativity and celebration!

Our members painted popsicle sticks in red, white, and blue, added ribbons and stars, and transformed them into festive handmade American flags. It was a fun way to celebrate the holiday spirit together through arts and crafts.

As we celebrate Independence Day, please note that our center will be closed tomorrow, July 4th. We hope everyone has a wonderful, safe, and relaxing holiday weekend! 🎆❤️🤍💙

Happy Father's Day! 🎉

We had a wonderful time celebrating all the amazing fathers at our center! Our Chinese members kicked off the celebration by sharing heartfelt poems they wrote and singing a beautiful Father's Day song.

A special thank you to our wonderful volunteer for sharing her beautiful voice and performing a special song for our members.

The week before our celebration, the ladies created Father's Day hats and beautiful button flower cards. During the celebration, they proudly presented their creations to the gentlemen, making the moment even more meaningful. The celebration ended with lots of smiles, laughter, and wonderful group photos together.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this Father's Day celebration so special!

Summer Drink-Making Fun at Worldshine Frederick!

We had a refreshing and creative summer activity where everyone got to mix their own special drinks using sodas, fresh fruits, fun toppings, and cute decorations. It was a cheerful afternoon, and we truly appreciate everyone who joined and made the activity so enjoyable!
