Always a pleasure to work alongside these great departments! The village was in great hands thanks to Carrier Mills Fire Department! We appreciate the station coverage.

There will be an Amish funeral taking place tomorrow. Please use caution throughout the Galatia area as there may be a large presence of horse and buggies on the roadway.

We truly appreciate Ferrell Hospital and their team!

Today, we were excited to assist the Galatia Fire Department with the purchase of a brand new AED! 🚒💙

Along with the AED, Ferrell Hospital provided a carrying case with equipment, child-specific electrode pads, and a first responder CPR/AED rescue kit.

Having the right equipment available when an emergency happens can make a huge difference, and we’re proud to support our local first responders and the important work they do in our community.

Shoutout to the Galatia Fire Department for being a sponsor to promote public safety for our upcoming 2026-2027 Galatia Jr. High cheer season! Be looking for their names on our banner and t-shirts we will be throwing out at games this year too! We appreciate your support! ❤️🐾

In the fire service, "Keep the Promise" represents the ultimate professional oath—the silent agreement that when the tones drop and citizens hand over their children, homes, and lives, firefighters are physically, mentally, and tactically prepared to save them. Our department is dedicated to our community. Being a first responder isn’t a job for just anyone. You will see things you will never forget. You’ll see smiles and tears. You’ll see pain in its rawest form. You have to be mentally strong. Most importantly, you have to be ready for the next call.
