⚠️ Attention SCWA Robin Hill Division Customers

Due to an electrical issue, the water storage tanks serving our Robin Hill Division dropped lower than their normal operating level.

Customers may experience lower-than-normal water pressure for a short period of time while the system recovers. Some customers may also notice temporary water discoloration as normal flow conditions are restored.

If your water appears discolored, run the cold water for several minutes until it clears.

SCWA is monitoring the system and working to return everything to normal operating conditions as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

✅ UPDATE – MONTVILLE MANOR WATER MAIN REPAIR COMPLETE

Attention SCWA Customers in the Montville Manor Division:

The water main break on Idaho Street has been successfully repaired, and water service has been fully restored.

As water service was reestablished, the distribution system was stirred up, which may cause temporary brown or discolored water. This discoloration is caused by naturally occurring mineral sediment that was disturbed during the repair and does not indicate a health concern.

If you experience discolored water, please run the cold water from the faucet closest to where your water service enters your home for 5–10 minutes, or until the water runs clear. If discoloration persists, wait a few hours for the system to settle and then try flushing again.

The water should continue to clear as the system stabilizes over the next several hours.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while our crews completed this emergency repair.

Attention Customers of Robin Division in Montville: SCWA completed the rehabilitation of the two wells that serve Robin Division the week of June 17-21, so customers are no longer being asked to conserve water, though we always encourage water conservation efforts. SCWA will be installing a new treatment system at the Robin pumphouse the first two weeks in July which should eliminate discoloration that occurs occasionally at some homes.
