The 2025 Primary Election is just around the corner! Elections on the ballot include Wichita City Council District 1, USD 259 Wichita Districts 1 and 5, and a special local sales tax election for the city of Maize. Keep these important dates in mind:

July 15 - Last day to register to vote
July 16 - Advance voting by mail begins
July 21 - Advance in-person voting begins at the Sedgwick County Elections Office (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
July 31 - Advance in-person voting begins at five satellite locations (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.)
Aug 4 - Advance in-person voting ends at noon
Aug 5 - Primary Election Day! Polls are open from 7 a.m. – 7p.m.
