Very disappointing in the lack of commitment displayed in this response by our elected city council officials to not protect our communities.

This is why it is so vital that constituents get out and vote for the right candidate to represent, serve and protect us.

Hopefully every family in our community will have at least one representative attending the City Council Meeting this evening - Wednesday, April 1st at 7:30. Time to show up GP. 🖤💛

As the results come in, I want to take a moment to say 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 — from the bottom of my heart — to every person who supported, encouraged, prayed for, and believed in me during this journey.

While the outcome may not have gone in my favor, I trust wholeheartedly that 𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭. I ran because I believe deeply in the power of community, faith, and service — and that desire to serve doesn’t end here.

To my opponents — 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓾𝓵𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼 on your victories. I sincerely pray for your wisdom, discernment, and strength as you lead and make decisions that impact our city and schools. May you always lead with humility, compassion, and integrity.

I’m incredibly proud of the Garden Plain and Renwick communities — for showing up, speaking out, and using your voices. That’s what true democracy looks like, and that’s what makes our community strong.

I’ve always believed that leadership isn’t about titles or recognition — it’s about 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴, and 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 for what matters most: our families, our children, and our hometown values.

I may not have been the loudest voice, but my heart has always been steady — focused on integrity, transparency, and collaboration. Together, we can continue to build a strong, connected, and thriving community where every voice is valued.
