Every year, on October 28th, the U.S. marks National First Responders Day to recognize the bravery, resilience, and selfless dedication of firefighters, police officers, paramedics, EMTs, and other emergency personnel. The day is an opportunity to express your gratitude, by sending thank-you notes, cards, or social media posts to first responders. Many communities hold ceremonies, parades, or community gatherings to celebrate.
Gardiner Rotary hosted our local first responders at our breakfast meeting this morning and it gave us a chance to thank them face to face for all they do in our community. We are grateful for their courage, sacrifice and daily dedication to this community!
