Today, GAAMHA staff and board members attended the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce Congressional Luncheon, where GAAMHA was proud to serve as a supporting sponsor.

We appreciated the opportunity to hear from Congressman Jim McGovern and Congresswoman Lori Trahan as they shared insights on our current political climate and the issues and priorities being addressed in Congress.

The luncheon provided a valuable opportunity to connect with local and state elected officials, engage in meaningful conversations, and gain a deeper understanding of the policies and decisions shaping our communities.

At GAAMHA, we believe strong communities are built through collaboration, open dialogue, and a shared commitment to understanding the challenges and opportunities that impact the people we serve. Both Congressman McGovern and Congresswoman Trahan have been strong advocates for GAAMHA through the years!

Today, we put down new roots. 🌱

What an incredible day at Evergreen Grove as we officially broke ground on the new 7,400-square-foot home of R.O.O.T.S. This building represents more than walls and an indoor arena — it represents opportunity, connection, healing, and what can happen when a community believes in doing things differently.

We were honored to celebrate alongside Congresswoman Lori Trahan, State Representative Jon Zlotnik, and so many friends and community partners.

This moment would not have been possible without the tremendous investment and belief of Reliant Foundation, Robinson Broadhurst Foundation, Inc., Rize Massachusetts, SAMHSA, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and BSAS, along with the partnership of Rockland Trust, McCarty Companies and J. Ferrara Associates

And most importantly, thank you to the R.O.O.T.S., Carl E. Dahl House and GAAMHA teams. Long before there were architectural plans, funding proposals or shovels in the ground, you were doing the work that gave everyone a reason to believe this next chapter was possible.

The roots we put down today will create opportunities for healing, connection and growth for generations to come.

⛳️ 51 PLAYERS. ONE GREAT DAY. TWO INCREDIBLE CAUSES. ❤️

Yesterday, we held our 2nd Annual Mini Open, and what a day it was!

🏌️‍♂️ 51 players stepped onto the course ready to compete, have some fun, tackle the hole challenges, and—most importantly—raise money to support Alyssa’s Place and Ripple Effect Peer Recovery Centers.

From the first putt to the final hole challenge, the energy, laughter, competition, and community spirit were everywhere. And that’s what makes events like this so special.

A HUGE THANK YOU to every player who came out and helped make the Mini Open a success. Your participation directly supports organizations working to provide connection, hope, recovery, and community to the people who need it most.
