Garland Naacp Youth Council

We are preparing for the Saturday, October 12, 2019 Education Forum. The Forum will be for parents and students from surrounding school districts and will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church, 9am to 1pm. The students will experience an SAT/ACT workshop taught by Curry Jones, Academic Crossroads. Other sessions for parents will feature panels addressing The College Admissions Process, Dual Credit, Concurrent Enrollment, Collegiate High School, College Honors Programs. The day will end with a keynote by Tiffany Gilmore addressing Social and Emotional Learning. The Education Forum is open to all.
