Heritage Crossing is four quadrants of land at the intersection of Sixth and Walnut Streets in Downtown Garland. This is a limited public forum.

Heritage Crossing preserves the history of the City of Garland and creates history programming through a partnership with Garland Landmark Society for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike. Currently, one quadrant is fully developed, consisting of the Landmark Museum located in Garland's 1901 Santa Fe Depot, and a refurbished 1910 Pullman Coach Car. Today is Math Happens at the Garland Landmark Museum!! Visit the museum to explore the math-based puzzels from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Heritage Crossing has partnered with the Math Happens Foundation to provide math for all ages, shared at all places. Join us on the first Saturday of each month to explore math-based activities and discover the beauty and relevance of mathematics in the world around us. (The activities are self-guided.)

Kick off your summer by celebrating America's 250th anniversary! Step back in time to 1776 and experience the past 250 years in Garland with America 250: Garland's Perspectives.

The exhibit, located at City Hall, is open Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and on Saturday from 12 to 4 pm.

Today is the opening of our newest exhibit, Making a Splash in Garland! Visit the Garland Landmark Museum to learn about Garland's swimming pool history and its distinguished synchronized swimming team, the Garlettes!!

The exhibit will be on display from April 25 to August 29. The Garland Landmark Museum is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm and is located at 393 N Sixth St. in Downtown Garland.

Oh look!! Empty display cases at the museum! You know what that means... We are preparing for our upcoming exhibit, Making a Splash in Garland! Opening day is Saturday, April 25. We're ready to kick off the summer fun by learning about Garland's synchronized swimming team, the Garlettes, and the city's long history of swimming pools.
