We had a great time visiting with the kids at Lakeview Pointe Apartments!

Along with getting an up-close look at the fire engine, they learned about fire safety and what it’s like to have a career in the fire service.

We always enjoy the opportunity to connect with our community and maybe even inspire a future firefighter or two!

This afternoon, we responded to a fence fire on Parker Circle in Fire District 1.

With another hot Texas afternoon adding to the challenge, firefighters worked to bring the fire under control and prevent any further spread.

A good reminder to stay fire-aware as we make our way through these hot, dry summer days.
