This week, we recognize EMS Week and celebrate the paramedics and first responders who are there for our community when it matters most.
This year’s theme, “Improving Outcomes, Together,” highlights the impact of teamwork in emergency response and patient care. Every call, every patient, and every situation takes coordination, compassion, and dedication — and we are proud of the work our personnel do each day to serve the Garland community.
Thank you to all EMS professionals for your continued commitment to caring for others.

Curious students, big smiles, and plenty of questions made for a great day at Daugherty Elementary and Ethridge Elementary career days on Wednesday!
Students had the chance to learn more about the fire service, explore some of the tools and equipment used every day, and talk with firefighters about what the job is like. We always enjoy opportunities to connect with students and be part of events like these.
Thank you to both schools for having us out!
