❗️❗️ NOTICE ❗️❗️
NO NEW BURN PERMITS WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
Harvest is here, and that means our farmers are putting in long days and late nights in the fields.
Even though we’ve been fortunate to receive plenty of rain, the dry, cut fields combined with wind can quickly create dangerous fire conditions.
We’re asking everyone to please be mindful of our local farmers and hold off on any unnecessary burning during harvest. Let’s give them one less thing to worry about while they work hard to get the crops out of the fields.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
