Parenting a neurodivergent child isn’t about fixing them. It’s about understanding them deeply enough that they never feel broken—and helping them overcome obstacles as they are, not in spite of who they are.

Too often, the world sees neurodivergent kids as problems to solve. But what they really need is to be seen, supported, and loved without conditions.

Holding Space for Gen Alpha—and the Folks Raising Them

Working with today’s kids—especially neurodivergent, Black and Brown kids—is a whole different story. Gen Alpha is growing up in a world that moves fast, questions everything, and doesn’t always make space for difference.

And for parents? It can feel like you’re trying to reparent yourself while parenting a child whose brain doesn’t follow the “rules” most of us were raised with.

In therapy, I hold space for both. The child who’s misunderstood because their needs don’t fit inside the classroom. The parent doing their best with what they know, while carrying the weight of culture, survival, and expectation.

I don’t come in with judgment or a clipboard full of “fix-it” plans. I come with curiosity, care, and a commitment to helping families find what works for them—not what the system says should work.

This work is deeply personal. It’s about breaking cycles, honoring identity, and helping our kids thrive without shrinking who they are.

To the caregivers out here trying to do better with limited support—your effort matters. You matter. Your child matters.

Exciting News: KinHearted is officially launching ! ❤️

We are beyond excited to announce the official launch of KinHearted Neurodevelopment Center, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children (ages 3-17) diagnosed with neurodevelopment disorders and their families.

As part of our commitment to providing a holistic and affirming environment, we’re introducing a daily Summer Group Session featuring:

• Tutoring to support academic success

• Play Therapy to nurture social and emotional growth

• Individual Therapy tailored to each child’s needs

• Group Therapy to build connection & peer support

• Parent Support to help families navigate this journey

• Excursions to encourage real-world learning & fun
