As many of you may know, I am the past president of Hispanic Communicators DFW, the local chapter of NAHJ, National Association of Hispanic Journalists. Each year the group awards thousands of dollars to future journalists and communicators (PR, Marketing, etc). Without our help, many of these students would not have the ability to attend college. I was in their position many years ago. That is why I am passionate about volunteering, mentoring, giving back and helping future communicators any way I can. Last year we awarded $25,000 to six local students. We hope to award the same amount, if not more, this year!! Any amount helps. Appreciate it in advance. And please share. Oh and also on the website there's information on how students can apply for these scholarships. Deadline has been extended!! http://www.dfwhispanic.org/2016-gala/become-a-sponsor/
