🇺🇸 25 YEARS — WE WILL NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸
On the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the members of the Thiells Fire Department pause to remember and honor everyone whose lives were forever changed that day.
We remember the 343 firefighters and all of the police officers, emergency responders, military personnel, and other heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice. We remember the innocent men, women, and children who lost their lives, the survivors who carry the memories with them, and the families, friends, and communities who continue to feel the loss.
We especially remember Sergeant John Coughlin, ESU Truck 4 — gone but not forgotten. His courage, dedication, and sacrifice will forever remain a part of our collective memory.
Today, we honor the fallen, stand with the survivors, remember the families, and pay tribute to every person affected by the events of September 11, 2001.
25 years later, their stories live on. Their sacrifices will never be forgotten.
