On October 31, Peaceful Hands Outreach of Love will bring its Everything Totally Free Clothing Giveaway to our south campus.

Neighbors can find clothing and other useful items at no cost, with no registration required.

And instead of answers, you found waitlists. Programs that don't actually support your child.

Village Academy West, in partnership with We Are The Village, brings inclusive early childhood and afterschool programming directly to the community. Daycare for ages 0–5. Aftercare for ages 6–12. ABA services. Experienced educators. A space where every child — regardless of ability — is valued and supported.

We’ve got some news: We received a grant from Knight Foundation's Knight Cities Challenge! 🎉

With this grant, the Hub will launch and grow a new entrepreneurship program in the fabulous city of Gary, Indiana.

We’re so excited to join this cohort of 29 organizations creating change in communities across the country.

We’re grateful to be selected and are looking forward to strengthening Gary through community impact.

Parenting a toddler can feel like the loneliest job in the world.

Not because you’re alone in the house; you’ve got a two-year-old reminding you of that every five minutes. But because nobody tells you how isolating it is to be the person everyone depends on while you’re still figuring it out yourself.

Research consistently shows that the quality of parent-child interaction during ages 2 and 3 has a lasting impact on language development, emotional regulation, and school readiness. But most parents in that stage aren’t reading research — they’re just trying to make it to bedtime.

Together Time is a free parent-child playgroup for families with children ages 2 and 3. Interactive play. Music. Stories. Crafts. Age-appropriate learning activities. And something just as important: other parents who get it.

🎉 WE MADE IT TO ROUND 3! 🎉

We are beyond excited to share that Flourish Community Hub has advanced to Round 3 of the Crown Point Community Foundation’s One Million Dollar Challenge! 🙌🏽💙💚

This is more than a milestone. It’s a testament to the power of collaboration, community, and the belief that together, we can create lasting change in Northwest Indiana.

The One Million Dollar Challenge is designed to bring organizations together to develop innovative, collaborative solutions that address our region’s most pressing needs. Advancing to Round 3 brings us one step closer to turning bold ideas into meaningful, transformational impact for the communities we serve.

BLOOM STARTS TONIGHT!

The girl making decent grades who never causes trouble is the one nobody checks on.

She’s holding it together in public. That doesn’t mean she isn’t carrying something.

Bloom Mentoring is for young women ages 13–18 offering leadership development, creative arts, and yes, makeup nights. It’s less about fixing anybody and more about giving her one room where she isn’t the one holding everything up.
