Our hearts are with the students, staff, families, and entire Bend community following the tragic school shooting. No child, family, or school community should ever have to experience such a devastating event.

We know that news like this can be difficult for children and adults alike. We encourage families to check in with their children, listen to their concerns, and offer reassurance. If your child needs additional support, please reach out to your school counselor or building administrator.

We are grateful for the educators and school staff who carry the tremendous responsibility of caring for other people's children each day. In moments like these, we are reminded of the emotional weight of that responsibility and the profound impact such tragedies have on the entire education community.

We stand with the Bend community during this heartbreaking time.

Last but certainly not least is our senior captain and four-year varsity starter—Kassidi Hedin, or as announcers like to call her, “Kuh-cee-dee Head-in!” 😆🏐

Here is Kassidi’s favorite volleyball memory:

“My favorite memory from my high school seasons would be, without a doubt, my freshman year. We had just lost our last game of the season, and all I can remember is how the seniors that year, Cayden and Lexi, were saying how proud they were of everyone and that we fought our hardest—and it brought us all the way to state. That moment has had a lasting impact season after season. My only hope is that I can make a lasting impact on all my teammates, just as Cayden and Lexi did my freshman year.”

Kassidi’s passion is unmatched, and she will leave some very big shoes to fill next year. Thank you for your leadership, loyalty, and heart over the last four years, Kass! 💚💛

🏐 Join us tonight at 6:30 as we take on Vernonia and celebrate our seniors! Tonight’s theme is GREEN AND GOLD—come dressed to show your Greyhound pride!

💚💛 One day until Senior Night! Today’s senior spotlight is **Madison “Madi” Johnson!** 🏐

Madi shared her favorite volleyball memory:

“My favorite volleyball memory is playing Granny in the locker room while waiting to play. We put some goofy music on and turned the lights off. I couldn’t stop laughing!”

Madi is a beacon of light and positivity! Her laughter and upbeat spirit bring so much joy to our team. We will miss you next year, Madi! 💚💛

Join us **tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. against Vernonia** as we celebrate our seniors. Go Greyhounds!
