Today, on National First Responders Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who answer the call every day — police officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and all who dedicate their lives to keeping our community safe.

At the Gastonia Police Department, we’re proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with our fellow first responders here in Gaston County and across the nation. Courage, compassion, and commitment make a difference every single day.
