It is official! The 1-130th ARB (Apache Battalion) is one of four Battalions that will remain in the Army National Guard - proving what we already knew, the Panthers are the best in the Army National Guard!

This concludes a multi-year effort to keep Apache Battalions in the Army National Guard. What started as an effort to take Apaches out of the Army National Guard, the National Commission on the Future of the Army recommended that four of the previous eight Apache Battalions remain in the Army National Guard.

After a thorough review of its performance history, the 1-130th ARB was ranked as the number one of the eight Army National Guard Apache Battalions studied - securing its place as one of the four to remain. A lot of inquiries slowed down the announcement for several years until today.

With the announcement finally made, the 1-130th ARB can focus on its upcoming mission!

This is a great way to start 2018!
