Before heading home for the summer break today, Woodhill staff headed out to deliver report cards that were still at school and surprise students with a popsicle treat! It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with families and celebrate a successful school year.

As this is our final Sunday message for this school year, I would like to take a moment to thank you for the support you have given our staff this year. We have had a truly spectacular year and have seen so much growth from our scholars - thanks to your help!

The last day of school is this Wednesday but we still have several important things happening.

Monday:
5th graders will take the Science EOG retest and then enjoy a special lunch sponsored by City Church.
K-2 Field Day (This is a student-only event.)

Tuesday:
3rd grade Awards will be held at 8:15
3-5 Field Day (This is a student-only event.)

Wednesday:
5th grade Awards will be held at 8:00
4th grade Awards will be held at 9:00

As we head into the final days of the school year, we want to encourage all of our students to finish strong before our last day of school on May 20! We are so proud of the determination they have shown all year long.

Parents, please continue helping us by ensuring your child is present and on time for the remaining days of testing. When students arrive late or are absent, they must test in a different location without the teacher they have worked with and become comfortable with throughout the year. Let’s work together to set them up for success by having them here every day of testing!

End of Grade Testing Schedule for 3rd–5th Grades:
• May 12 – Math
• May 13 – Science (5th Grade Only)
• May 14 – Reading Retest
• May 15 – Math Retest
• May 18 – Science Retest

We are also excited to celebrate our students during upcoming grade level Awards Days! Thank you to all of the families who supported our 1st Grade Awards Day this week.

¡Buenas noches, familias de Woodhill!

A medida que nos dirigimos hacia los últimos días del año escolar, ¡queremos animar a todos nuestros estudiantes a terminar fuertes antes de nuestro último día de clases el 20 de mayo! Estamos muy orgullosos de la determinación que han demostrado durante todo el año.

Padres, por favor, sigan ayudándonos asegurándose de que su hijo esté presente y a tiempo para los días restantes de las pruebas. Cuando los estudiantes llegan tarde o están ausentes, deben realizar el examen en un lugar diferente sin el profesor con el que han trabajado y con el que se sienten cómodos durante todo el año. ¡Trabajamos juntos para prepararlos para el éxito al tenerlos aquí todos los días de las pruebas!
