2 Alarms in 4s first due this morning

Engine 6, Engine 2, Ladder 4, Ladder 3, Rescue 1, and Battalion 1 & 2 responded to this house fire overnight on Moran Street in Gastonia. Two patients were transported with non-life threatening injuries. The Gastonia Fire Marshal’s office has determined the fire was caused by improperly discarded smoking materials.

7/30/25 Batt. 2 and Ladder 4 (C Shift) made the trip to the Westside for a Commercial Business Fire in 1s district. Units found heavy smoke showing from a warehouse. Ladder 4 arrived and split 2 for RIT, who began “softening” the building. 2 for ventilation. Companies on the Box: BC1, BC2, E2, E5, E8, E62, L1, L4, R1, C1, C2
