We’ve been working hard behind the scenes for the last few months to develop a digital brochure to share all things Scott County 😁

In lieu of having to reprint paper versions of a brochure every few years as things change, we are replacing those with a single rack card with a QR code. When you scan the code, it takes you directly to a digital, interactive brochure that we can easily update as needed!

We’re so excited to have this finished, and can’t wait to get our rack cards printed and ready!

Although our Makers and Growers Festival is tomorrow, we have our food trucks set up a little early, serving delicious lunch and treats TODAY from 10:15-2:00 at the Scott County Career and Technical Center! Everyone is welcome, so stop by and grab a bite to eat 😋

We’ve got Squealin’ Pig BBQ, The Cluck Truck, and Blue Line Treats today! Tomorrow, all 3 will be back, plus JMAC’s DOGS!

We have some really exciting news!

We applied for a Virginia Tourism Corporation Grant for Tourism Marketing last spring and we GOT IT! Our project is “3 Day Stay and Play in Scott County” and we’ve been busy planning and coordinating our project and partners over the summer months.

Today is the 1st day of our shoot, and we’ve got two incredible families helping us out, in addition to several of my UVA-Wise public relations students. We filmed at Little Stony Falls today, and are trekking through Ft. Blackmore and Gate City this afternoon. Tomorrow we will hit up Natural Tunnel State Park and the Clinch River 💦

We are so excited to show off our beautiful area! Thank you Virginia is for Lovers!

We are THRILLED to be hosting the 2nd Annual Makers & Growers Festival along with Scott County Career and Technical Center. Last year was our inaugural event and we were BLOWN away with support.

This year, we are back and so much BIGGER. We have OVER 40 vendors signed up to participate!

What can you find at this year's festival?

Farm fresh vegetables, sourdough bread, pumpkins, sweet treats, handmade crafts, candles, cleaning products, jewelry, custom t-shirt bar, boutique clothing, game calls, and SO MUCH MORE.

This is a farmer's market and artisan lover's DREAM!

Please help us spread the word and shop local!
