🚨 CITY CLOSURE NOTICE | HURRICANE ISAIAS 🌀

Due to the anticipated impacts of Hurricane Isaias, the City of Gautier will close City Hall and designated municipal offices on Friday, October 9, 2026, out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the safety of our employees and residents.

The closure includes:
🔹 Gautier City Hall
🔹 Police Records & Administrative Offices
🔹 Municipal Courts
🔹 Utilities Department
🔹 Parks & Recreation Department

At this time, normal business operations are expected to resume on Monday, October 12, 2026, weather and conditions permitting.

City officials continue to closely monitor Hurricane Isaias and coordinate with the Jackson County Office of Emergency Services to prepare for potential impacts.

We encourage residents to remain weather-aware, take necessary precautions, and follow the City's official communication channels for updates.

Please note: This closure applies to administrative offices and public-facing services. Emergency police and fire services will remain operational.

EVENT UPDATE: CRUISIN’ THROUGH THE DECADES RESCHEDULED!

Due to the forecasted inclement weather, the City of Gautier’s Cruisin’ Through the Decades event originally scheduled for Sunday, October 4th, has been rescheduled to Monday, October 5th beginning at 12pm.

Location: Town Commons- 2800 Highway 90, Gautier, MS

Join us for an exciting day filled with classic cars, delicious food trucks, music, and fun for the entire family!
