All 2026 property tax bills, mobile home notices, business personal property returns and special homestead exemption forms have been mailed. You may make your payment in the office with check or cash or by mail. Debit or Credit payments are accepted only by phone at 1-855-232-9043 or online at www.genevacountyal.gov.

We will also be at Slocomb City Hall every Wednesday in October and November beginning October 7th from 8am-4pm for your convenience(payments accepted in check form only).

Monday, September 7, 2026 our office will be closed in observance of Labor Day. We will re-open with our normal business hours Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Geneva County: is taking applications for a REVENUE CLERK 1. Duties Include :Assesses property. Collects appropriate taxes/fees and issues receipts. Balances receipts with collections. Greets customers/visitors and provides information. Prepares and maintains various financial records and reports. Performs various other duties as required.

Applicant must pass a physical and drug screen. Benefits include BCBS Insurance (100% paid by county for single coverage and 77% of family coverage covered by county) and State of Alabama Retirement, both effective on hire date. Fifteen paid holidays per year, sick and annual vacation is accrued monthly.

Applications are available at the Personnel Office, Courthouse 1st Floor and will be available and accepted beginning June 17, 2026, through the close of business on July 01, 2026.

Attention Geneva County Taxpayers:

2026 Valuation notices for real and business personal property were mailed Friday, May 15th, 2026.

The deadline to protest is June 14, 2026.

The values provided on the notices are current estimates. If we find any error on a parcel, the value is subject to change. Please remember that you are protesting value, NOT taxes. If you should have any questions, please call 334-684-5650.
