It’s Grape Jamboree Weekend!

🍇 Northwest Ambulance District personnel and all of our units including our ERAP Mule, EMS Bikes and Event Support trailer will be stationed at Grape Jamboree all weekend! Stop on by and say Hi! 🍇

Also be advised, our station on South Broadway will be unmanned during daytime hours.

Today marks the start of the Thunder on the Strip Rally this weekend at Geneva on the Lake. While GOTL is not part of our coverage area, thousands of bikes will be traveling through our district to get there and home. Please remember to be alert, share the road, look twice, and as always, drive safely.

Northwest Ambulance extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends and fellow officers of Officer Joe Cooper.

We remember someone who was so much more than a professional connection. He was a friend, a trusted partner, and a valued member of our community.

He always cared deeply about N**s patients, even when their well-being technically wasn’t his responsibility. He looked out for the safety of our crews on every call and was always willing to go above and beyond to teach, share his knowledge, and help us better understand the drugs, crimes, and challenges we may have encountered in the field.

But perhaps what meant the most was the person he was beyond the job. If you needed someone to talk to, had a question, or simply needed a helping hand, he was always there—whether he was on duty or off.

He truly loved what he did and took great pride in serving his community and anyone who knew him knew how much his family meant to him. He spoke with such pride about his children and grandchildren, and it was clear how much they meant to him.

Northwest Ambulance District is grateful to have had the opportunity to know, work alongside, and call him a friend. His kindness, knowledge, dedication, and friendship will not be forgotten.

Rest easy, Joe. Thank you for always looking out for us. You will be deeply missed. 💙

Our ambulance crews were proud to provide medical coverage at the Freedom 250 Patriot Games! It was an honor to be part of an event celebrating patriotism, community, and the student athletes that participated.

A big thank-you to all of the participants, organizers, volunteers, first responders, and supporters who helped make this event such a great success.

We’re proud to serve our community and grateful for every opportunity to be there when our community comes together. ❤️💙

Northwest Ambulance District had the privilege of awarding three Geneva High School seniors with scholarship funds through the Northwest Ambulance District Auxiliary Scholarship last night. Congratulations to the recipients, William Dushney, Addison Satterfield, and Addelynn Sheppard!
