🔋 Prepare for potential power outages

🚗 Stay home if you can: The safest place to drive during a severe storm is nowhere at all.

Second Tip of National Pedestrian Safety Month: Keep your ears open to the sounds around you as you walk! Take head phones off or keep one earbud out to help you stay aware of the vehicles and pedestrians around you.

This Pedestrian Safety Month, remind yourself that shorter days and evening commutes require extra caution. ⚠️

🚗 Drivers: Slow down, especially at crosswalks and in hard-to-see conditions.
🚶 Pedestrians: Follow the rules of the road and use crosswalks when available.

I saw the 8-year-old from this picture today. She’s 20 now! And she no longer needs a booster 😊

Remember that 4’9” is the minimum height at which the adult belt may fit correctly. Many kids still need a booster until closer to 5 feet tall. Most still should be using a booster until age 10-12.
