This probably shouldn't have to be said, but here it goes anyway...
There are still power lines, trees, and other debris laying down from the storm. Although many places still do not have power, there is still a risk that downed power lines could be hot. Homecoming Week is upon us, and with all of the usual concerns, we now have to worry about a very real danger. Additionally, it is possible that homeowners may not respond with the understanding that they normally have during this time of year. As always, GPD will enforce the law to protect lives and property.
Parents: help us out. Set reasonable curfews for your teens and encourage them to use a little common sense.
Teens: make wise choices. Don't do anything that will have a lasting negative impact on your life or the life of another. Remember that a lot of people are having a hard time right now, and don't need you making it worse.
