ATTENTION: WATER RESTRICTION
Due to the extreme heat over the last several days, we have been monitoring our wells and we are currently in Stage 2 of our water restriction plan.

Regulation actions to follow:

1. Reduce outdoor water use and to efficiently use water for indoor purposes, for example, washing full loads of clothing and/or dishes, limiting the length and frequency of showers, checking for leaks and dripping faucets to prevent unnecessary use of water.

2. An odd/even lawn watering system will be imposed on city residents. Those with odd-numbered houses will water on odd days and those with even-numbered houses will water on even days.

3. Outdoor water use, including watering lawns and washing cars, will be restricted to before 10:00 A.M. and after 9:00 P.M.

4. Refilling of swimming pools or hot tubs will be limited to one day a week after sunset.

5. Waste of water will be prohibited (i.e. water running down the street).

If these regulation actions are not followed, we will be forced into Stage 3 of our water restriction plan and will have to ban all outdoor water use.

We appreciate your cooperation during this time!
