The Williamson County Commissioners Court declared October 4 - 10 as National 4-H Week and got to hear what our 4-H members here in Wilco have been up to, which is A LOT! We are so proud to represent Williamson County 4-H 🍀

The Williamson County Commissioners Court recognized Oct. 4-10 as National 4-H Week during today’s meeting.

This year’s theme, “Beyond Ready,” highlights how 4-H prepares young people for the future through hands-on learning in science, agriculture and community leadership.

Join us in celebrating the 4-H members, volunteers and educators helping the next generation lead and succeed!

It’s 🍀4-H🍀 week and we have A LOT of things to celebrate!

It’s fall major show season and we have a bunch of Williamson County 4-H members competing in so many areas!

First up: public speaking!

At the Heart O Texas Fair and Rodeo, our Wilco 4-H competitors showed up in full force! We had 24 4-H members make the trip to Waco to complete.

Validation Turn-In & Last Chance Validation

This Saturday, October 3, 2026, Validation Turn-In and Last Chance Validation will be held at:

100 Wilco Way
Georgetown, TX 78626

All validation materials must be turned in to WCLA by 12:00 PM (Noon). Materials should be delivered to Room HR 108, located downstairs on the northwest corner of the building.

Animals and exhibitors needing (pre-purchased) validation late tags must be in line no later than 10:00 AM. An AST, parent, or guardian must be present with the exhibitor.

Please plan accordingly and make sure all materials, animals, and exhibitors arrive by the appropriate deadlines.

Late tag orders will be available on 10/3 at the WCLA validation.
