Project Outreach was able to help out a young mom with a much needed handicap ramp. Mom has a special needs daughter who cannot walk. In order to transport her daughter anywhere she had to carry her down steps to the car. Daughter is now 9 years old and was getting to heavy for Mom to carry safely. With the assistance of our wonderful deck builder, Ted, a deck has been added to the front of the home making it possible for Mom to transport her daughter safely.

Project Outreach participated in the Lagrange Moscow Literacy Night recently where books were given to participating families for each of their children. The children were delighted with the books they chose.

Also visiting for the night was School Representative Hal Rounds.

We had another wonderful (and hot) morning in Fayette county! Each family got a bag of dry goods, potatoes and ground beef.

Our plus one families received an extra bag of groceries and there was a birthday cake kit for each child born in October!

In response to a need for the staff at Lagrange Moscow School, Project Outreach has prepared over 65 sets of clothing changes for children.

Often times the children have an accident at school that might involve dropping food on their laps or any other type of accident and the nurse provides a clothing change for those children.

Thanks to board member, Rachel Bresoza, change of clothes packets were put together to include shirts, pants, fresh underwear, and socks for young students. For older young ladies, clothing and hygiene packs were made in case they might need those services.

With the help of our donors, Project Outreach is able to meet a variety of needs for the families in our community including monthly food bags, birthday cakes for children, books for children, personal hygiene products for all clients, emergency needs in a family, and other things that might come up within the community.

Thank you, Rachel, for your hard work and putting together these clothing packets. And thank you to our donors who make all of this possible!
