For the eighth year, Germantown Municipal School District has been recognized as one of the nation’s Best Communities for Music Education and one of only 12 districts in Tennessee to earn the honor this year!

Congratulations to LeeAnn Bailey from Riverdale, named Teacher of the Year, and Stephen Summy of Houston High School, named New Teacher of the Year, at the Germantown Education Celebration!

LeeAnn Bailey was recognized for creating a classroom where students feel supported, valued, and inspired to grow, while Stephen Summy was honored for bringing innovation and real-world learning opportunities to his students in his very first year of teaching.
