The following subject was charged on 09/02/26, by the Macoupin County States Attorney’s Office, with one count of Aggravated Battery to a Child (Class 3 Felony), and one count of Domestic Battery (Class 4 Felony).

On 09/01/26 the said defendant knowingly caused bodily harm to a child under the age of 16 years, in that he struck her in the face and ribs. And the said defendant knowingly made physical contact of an insulting nature to the stepdaughter of the defendant, in that he struck her in the face and ribs.

The charges issued in this case are based only upon probable cause, and not an indication of guilt. This defendant as well as all others are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The following subject was charged on 07/29/26, by the Macoupin County States Attorney’s Office, with one count of Criminal Damage to Property (Class A Misdemeanor), and one count of Criminal Trespass to Residence (Class A Misdemeanor).

On 07/28/26 the said defendant knowingly damaged property, being a screen door and two windows, without permission of the owner. And the said defendant, without authority, knowingly entered in a residence located in Benld, Illinois, and remained therein after having been told that he was not allowed to be present at the residence.

The charges issued in this case are based only upon probable cause, and not an indication of guilt. This defendant as well as all others are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On 07/23/26 the said defendant knowingly possessed more than 5 grams but less than 15 grams of methamphetamine or a substance containing methamphetamine.
