This past Tuesday, in Mrs. Hinderman’s/Ms N’s 5K, Mrs. Davis read, “Go Away Big Green Monster” by Ed Emberley.
The students then used their own imagination to create their own monsters with Play-doh, a pipe cleaner and two beads for eyes.

On October 19, the Gillett School District hosted a legislative engagement session on the state of local education.

Administrators, school board members, and county representatives from the Gillett, Lena, and Clintonville school districts, alongside CESA 8 leadership, met with Senator Eric Wimberger and Representative Jeff Mursau. The discussion focused on sharing insights, addressing current challenges, and exploring how state leaders and local schools can collaborate to improve our education system.

Thank you to everyone who participated and advocate for our students!

to 1983 Colorguards!

Celebrating this group of 15 who marched at all home football games, the 4th of July parade, the Memorial Day parade and lead the high school band in concert competition.

From school spirit to memories made with teammates, these moments are a reminder of the traditions that make our district special.

Learning Through Culture!

Ms. Umentum’s Hispanic Cultures Class spent their 4th hour in the kitchen today. They brought their learning about Colombian culture to life through food. Students prepared Pulled Pork Arepas and Limonada de Coco (Coconut Limeade).

It was a delicious way to learn about another culture.
