Gillette Abuse Refuge Foundation We provide free and confidential services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Our services are also available to friends, family, and other support persons to help them better understand the crisis the victim is experiencing. GARF services include:

We had such an incredible turn out for our 2nd annual Survivors Walk! What a beautiful night to honor the lost & show support for those who have survived domestic violence or who may still be struggling.

Thank you to all the courageous survivors and brave supporters who attended 💜

And a special thank you to G.A.R.F.'s amazing mental health counselor, Tammy, for her beautiful, inspring speech. In case you missed it, here is a snippet:

"Tonight, I hope each step we take represents something.
A step toward safety.
A step toward healing.
A step toward reclaiming your voice.
A step toward joy.
A step toward hope.
And perhaps a step toward becoming a community that takes better care of one another.
And to the survivors who are here tonight…whether you are walking openly as a survivor or carrying that part of your story quietly…I want you to hear this:
We are so glad you’re here.
You are so much more than what happened to you.
You are not defined by the person who hurt you.
You are not defined by the worst day of your life.
You matter. Your life matters. And your future matters.
There is still so much ahead for you."

Join us this October for Domestic Violence Awareness Month as we LIGHT UP THE NIGHT in PURPLE 💜
The color purple symbolizes courage, survival, and hope—shining this light honors those we have lost, stands in solidarity with survivors, and lets those still suffering in silence know they are not alone.
You can buy purple bulbs at local hardware stores and Walmart, or pick one up for FREE at the G.A.R.F. office or G.A.R.F.'s display inside the Artisan Way display case at the Campbell County Courthouse.
Together we can illuminate a path to safety for everyone 💜

Learn about our Transitional Housing program with Vic and our TH Case Manager, Santana! Transitional Housing allows G.A.R.F. to offer longer-term support for survivors fleeing domestic violence or sexual assault.
