Social workers play an important role in protecting voting rights. To support the communities we serve, we must understand the threats that can restrict voter participation.

NASW is working with national voting rights organizations to share information about voter intimidation, gerrymandering, redistricting and other election interference tactics.

Our Safeguarding Free and Fair Elections Resource Center can help social workers:
β€’ Educate voters about their rights
β€’ Share voter registration resources
β€’ Help voters understand their state’s rules
β€’ Promote informed voter participation
