💃🏿

💃We started this Afro Latino month with a big celebration and a great tribute. At the Superbowl, Shakira Oficial danced champeta, a dance with African roots that originated in the Caribbean coasts of Colombia. It was originally used as a way for poor communities to express their thoughts and beliefs. It was controversial but now it is a very popular rhythm in the whole country and after Sunday, in the whole world!

Comment below with your favorite champeta song!
